How about to my friends who inspired me when nobody else could,
I know they hurt too because, they gave money to help,
and believed in me when nobody else would.
Can I say that to my sister lying inna hospital face twisted from a stroke,
how about my step brother I haven't seen in over 20 years
lying inna bed in Pennsylvania dying of aids!
yeah he's broke!
What about my mother locked up inna a mental hospital
being drugged up because the people all around her
can't see the truth in what she is sayin'.
what about my father who died of cancer
and never knew I met a man who found an answer,
lying inna grave with no head stone!
Yeah he's still waiting to go home.
What about my first son who never had the chance when he was young
to hang out with his dad to find out the gift he has is second to none.
U can't put a price on talent u either believe it or u don't.
It takes courage, wisdom, honor and a strong dose of perseverance to get through,
because winning ain't everything especially when ur broke.
